I have a strange problem with my 2 slot cab. The game plays fine when I am playing alone in 1 player mode, but when someone plays 2 players the controls mess up. The characters will walk to the right or duck down as if we are holding right or down on the sticks. It never happens in 1 player mode, but when the second player starts it happens sometimes, nobody has to press buttons on the 2nd player side or anything, it will just freak out. Any idea why this is happening? Could it be something as simple as a crossed wire somewhere, or is my 2 slot just fucked up? Thanks for any help. :help:

Is it the second player side that this is happening on?

Could be two wires touching, the may even be on the switches.
Or the right or down switches on the 2 players stick are stuck.

I'd say go over your wiring..and make sure the switches are working..

Go into hardware test and test each switch..

Thanks for posting! I went into the hardware test and all the buttons are working as they should. It is happening on both controls, which is what made me think it is a crossed wire or something. When the controls mess up, they both mess up at the same time. It isnt just one or the other, and it only happens when 2 people are playing.

Yep,

Sounds like crossed wires, unplug all the wires with both players on and slowly hook it back up, you'll either find the problem or rewire it correctly. Doesn't sound like the switchs if it is working fine in 1 player? I could be wrong though? :smirk:
