I took the plunge recently on a couple of MVS games from eBay, Twinkle Star Sprites and Viewpoint. Both of the cases are beat to hell, as described in the auction :D

TSS has the yellow Japanese warning label, while viewpoint doesn't have a warning label.

Here are pics of the Twinkle Star Sprites boards:

and Viewpoint boards:

What do you think? My gut says original, just wanted to check with the experts.

Thanks!

What's the chips say on both carts..?

I'm going to say Viewpoint "looks" legit but I can't see the soldering very well.

Do you see and crappy soldering?

The Twinkle Star Sprites looks good from the top though i can't really read the chips(?)

From what I see the soldering looks crappy, this may be a boot..
If it's a boot it looks pretty damn good..

Can you get some closer pics of the soldering..

thumbs up imho

Thanks for the feedback guys. The soldering looks fine to my untrained :eye: :eye: and I don't see any eproms on 'em. These were bought from a reputable seller on eBay IMO, it's the guy that has multiple listings of Twinkle Star Sprites, Viewpoint, Kizuna Encounter, etc.

Just wanted to make sure before replacing the labels and putting them in my collection.
