For me, I liked Gone in 60 seconds. That's the only one I think of now...

BLACK MOON RISING

*Okay I'm kidding, but the car itself was kinda' cool
and theres one scene where Craig "Coach" T. Nelson
bounces this deaf guy off a car who flies like 30 feet
into the air with these gay assed cowboy boots, and
his dead body is dragged off with a BFI Garbage Gobbler
that is like, the funniest fuckin' death scene evar in a film.

Oh and the coolest film with cars in it hasn't been made yet
as it's still in my mind and one day I'll film it.

The original or the Nicholas Cage remake?

For me it would me LeMans. Came out in 1971 starring Steve McQueen. He drives the Porsche 917 which IMO, was one of the most incredible LeMans race cars that Porsche ever built. The camera work during the race is probably the best you will ever see as a camera was fitted on one of the 917's that ran during LeMans 1970. It gives the best sense of speed I think you will ever see in any car movie. None of those cheap ass special effects like the Fast and the Furious. Pure racing at its best. Definitely check it out. Just keep in mind watching this movie is for watching the race sequences, not the storyline IMO.

Days Of Thunder. Screw Citizen Kane: that's the best movie ever!

:eye: :eye:

What?

I'll second Days of Thunder as well.

Cole Trickle> Russ Wheeler

It is kind of funny that Robert Duvall is in both Days of and Gone in 60 sec. The man was born to play these racing roles.

Luc Besson's Taxi is the closest thing to a good car movie I've ever seen.
Why hasn't anyone mentioned it?
