There’s nowhere your skip-free iPod shuffle can’t go, and with up to 12 hours(3) of continuous playback time, it keeps going as long as you do.

That is a very cheap price, but DAMMIT why can't they make something with a reasonable battery life? Plus why does it have a cap to cover the usb connector? I'll lose that in no time flat.

Looks like I'll get the normal ipod battery with these things... :kekeke:

I know what you mean, but I think that's Apple's "point" with the iPod Shuffle. Seems like you can just import from a group of files more or less randomly and you get kinda like a party mix output. Not ideal, but that's exactly why this one was made this way. You want to sort your songs on an iPod, ante up $150 more....

Music capacity is based on 4 minutes per song and 128Kbps AAC encoding.
Do not eat iPod shuffle.
Rechargeable batteries have a limited number of charge cycles and may eventually need to be replaced. Battery life and number of charge cycles vary by use and settings. See www.apple.com/batteries for more information.
Some computers require either the optional iPod shuffle Dock or a USB cable extender (sold separately).
Buy an iPod shuffle

Order an iPod shuffle of your choice online at the Apple Store, open 24 hours a day.

Locate an Apple retail store or an iPod reseller near you.

It shuffles and/or uses playlists I think.

Exactly. I could definitely see myself buying a 1 gig iPod Shuffle for use at the gym especially.

These have been rumored for a while now.
I was beginning to wonder when Apple was going to finally get around to releasing these.

New word processor? Apple Works 7? Or something completely different?

No, it's call iWork and includes Keynote 2 and the new WP called "Pages".
I don't think Apple will phase out Appleworks for the time being as it does have a decent following in the educational community plus it runs on modest Macs. Pages seems to be some sort of competitor to Word albeit with better support for graphics and layout functionality.
