mod locked my sig and edit feature without warning.

Locking my sig is a little weird, never once did a mod ask me to stop editing my posts. This makes me wonder if there's a mod amongst us that has power issues. A PM asking to stop would have worked fine. I just figured only the weird anal/nosy members had a problem with it, not a mod.

ANyway, I guess I was wrong to think I wouldn't be noticed here. I never seen a rule stating that editing posts, to nothing, was not aloud. I never looked at it as abusing the feature either, there actually was a purpose why I was doing it.

Anyhow, I really like this place, even though some members have been pissing me off lately, this is the first forum I ever joined and I respect the modding here and want to follow the rules. I don't really see why this was necessary. If this is part of a personal problem that someone has with me, then I don't mind meeting in person. I will be at E3 this year.

I deserve to have my edit feature locked and to be stuck with this loving sig?

I hope not.

Not sure who did it (wasn't me), but the editing post thing is a bit much and it is abusing the power to edit posts. For a while here at NG.com, that power was removed from the users due to abuse.

I for one don't know why you feel it's necessary to edit out all your content. Perhaps you'd like to enlighten us all?

It doesn't really bother me, but I'd be curious to hear the reason you do it. mostly because the boards seem a little slow today and I got nothing better to do at the moment.

OK, I felt it was necessary to edit my posts because I was trying to avert the attention of someone. In turn I didn't think that by doing this I would draw any attention to myself. I figured it was my business to do as I pleased with my posts, since I wasn't doing it in order to take out anything derogatory.

okay, in all seriousness... NEOryu, why do you edit EVERYTHING out of posts so often? If it's to say that you wanted to remove items you were selling that were no longer for sale, that creates problems if you're looking for past transactions you did with people. You'll have no idea what each thread was about if all that remains is a single period. (and it wasn't confined to the market forums either, you seem to have removed posts from random threads in Unrelated Topics and General Discussion and the like?)

I went through your post history and was going to count the number of posts that you edited down to a single period, but I lost count after 150 or so
