If anyone is hoping that Sega would do an Arena League game...

I'm really surprised that SEGA didn't go for the Arena Football League when EA has exclusive rights to NFL already. But now EA has both Arena and NFL...

Well, I do hate to see EA obtaining exclusive rights to anything - honestly I find it quite sickening.

On the positive side, I don't think many people really give two shits about Arena football, and I'd prefer a generic arcade-style football game from Sega to an Arena effort.

I am surprised that Sega has not snatched up the rights to the CFL. That would probably sell well in Canada :p

As long as EA does not take full contol of hockey I am okay. Sega has had the best hockey game out there for the last couple of years.

Combine this with the fact that EA will never revive the Mutant League series and my disdain goes up a couple notches.

At the rate EA's going, they're probably negotiating with Mother Nature to get the exclusive rights to the air we breathe... :oh_no:

After hearing this news, my interest in Blitz Playmakers went up a couple hundred notches.

I went to an Arena Football game last year. The best part about it was the cheerleaders.

The final score was 72-71 or some shit like that.
