Hey all.

I'm not sure if I can use Windex on them, so I'm just exhaling onto them and cleaning them with a paper towel.

I'm trying to clean my Camcorder's Pop-out LCD Display, what can I use on it?

Any place that sells computers should have monitor wipes. Like baby wipes but for CRT and LCD/Laptop displays. It's cheap and works well.

Okay, so it needs a different treatment.

I'll get some of those the next time and meanwhile I'll just use kleenex.

Never use windex, it's bad for the screen. I just take a paper towel and a little bit of water, that seems to do the trick.

That kind of thing just spread the grease ...
Glasses cleaning spray is perfect. It s non-agressive for most materials (because glasses holding branches can be made of anything from wood to metal passing by plastic or kevlar... er... no... not kevlar).
What i do is spray on a new kleenex (to avoid drops going inside the circuitry) and then do the cleaning job.
