I am not even going to bother with this as the seller is new but 260 for a Value Pack is nice. The seller says its real but its a newly created account. What do you think?

I just contacted him about stock. It seems he can get more. I will wait and see how his feedback look after all these transactions are finished.

For some reason I was thinking you picked one up somewhere.

There was a nice deal on a used one last night and I missed it. He'd only had it a week, he said it was perfect condition with no LCD probs at all. I think he was genuine too, with nearly 300 feedback 100%. Standard pack, 2 games, carry case, and a 512MB memory card for a bit less than $500 shipped. I asked him to take pics but before he did someone used BIN.

Had the full buyer's protection thing. Don't know why I hesitated.

Actually I did get one. It was a PSP Value Pack & Metal Gear Ac!d(hopefully I can exchange this for Ridge Racers). I would buy this just to higher my chances of getting a dead pixel free PSP. I even bought a screen protector.

Ahh, so you bought but don't have one yet.

And fate may be intervening. I look to have an extra Ridge Racers on the way. I might trade it for Metal Gear if someone convinces me I can actually play it.

I checked ebay.fr recently for PSP and you can't get one for less than 400 euros, so this is a REALLY good deal.

Oh boy ... good luck with your purchases guys, but this has all the makings of a scam.

1) 0 feedback.

2) price is well below what he could be getting for no apparent reason.

3) selling multiple items at once, because he probably knows that after the feedback starts coming, his account is finished.

When I talked to distributors in Japan, that price is below what they pay for the Value Packs. So, I would stay away from it. He would be losing money on this, and no one would just lose money for the hell of it!

Looks like another scam to me. Again, if it seems too good to be true . . . :oh_no: and $230 for a Value Pack is way too low.

Oh I agree completely. I used my CC. The worst possible scenario is that I have to do a chargeback.

Might I remind you that you're on a forum where people routinely pay >$350 for a single game...

Also, 2 games and a 512MB memory card is pushing $200. That makes the PSP value pack $300 in that scenario. Solid deal.

Now the guy apparently has his Paypal account frozen so I expect a refund soon. I didn't hear from him but a couple other buyers did.

He asked them to send a money order and they'd get a Paypal refund. Right.......

Scammers suck! Don't they realize if they get caught they go to jail!?! A few thousand dollars is not worth anytime in a jail. I work doing Police Station Servers and I have to go through prisons and, trust me, it is the last place you want to be!

Here's similar auction. It seems he moved to NC and is giving his reason for low prices. I just decided to pay at little extra to get it from a trusted seller and it is insured. He just e-mailed me and told me it will ship today. He is ID Verified, so hopefully that means the others will get it. If so, nice deal! I just do not think I would have taken the chance since Pay Pal sucks!

That's even worse! I had someone do that to me where they were having MO's sent to a house that no one lived in. He was snagging the mail and cashing them at a liquor store using a Fake ID. At least I got my money back through the Post Office, but it was a long process.
