Thus far, the Jets/Bolts match was the most competitive. Otherwise, it's been very predictable.

Caught most of the Colts/Denver Donkeys debacle this morning. Good lord man.
Jake Plummer not only looks like a hobo (with that beard), but he plays like one too.
Guess those who reaped the great QB harvest of '83 (Marino/Dolphins, Broncos/Elway) are doomed to suck for a while.

A bit surprised the Vikes took out the Packers in such convincing fashion. Favre never makes that many mistakes, perhaps he is ready for retirement.

In the end, the AFC Championship game will be the default Super Bowl.
Still have to go with the Patriots, so much experience in making key plays this time of year.

The Chargers should have won after the Jets nearly blew the game with the roughing the passer call in the 4th quarter. They got lucky plain and simple with that missed 40 yard FG. Next week in Pittsburgh I doubt they'll do much. Their offense simply isn't good enough to get past the Steelers defense. To their credit the Jets have a pretty good frontline, but their corners and safeties leave a little to be desired. Pittsburgh will be off to the AFC Championship game barring a meltdown.

The Colts/Broncos game was predictable, but I didn't think it was going to be a repeat of last years game. Ditto on Plummer looking and playing like a hobo. It's no secret that he wasn't exactly cream of the crop in Arizona. He just looks better because he has a better team around him. He definitely did not get much better than he did.

The Patriots/Colts game is going to be interesting. I actually feel the Colts have a better chance than they did last year and during the season opener against the Patriots. Although the cold weather in Foxboro will be working against them since they have to play in the RCA Dome for home games. In addition to Marvin Harrison, Manning now has Reggie Wayne and Brandon Stokely to work with. Reggie Wayne could potentially be the X-Factor in this one. The Colts defense leaves a bit to be desired. But I don't think this is the same New England team that was around last year. They don't have Ty Law, which in my opinion is a big blow. They can still manage. But given the receiving options Peyton Manning has, the secondary is going to have its hands full. Honestly if the Colts defense can step up a bit and do some damage to the Patriots offense, I can see the Colts getting out of Foxboro with a win.

The NFC I really have no desire to watch this year. For me the season is over with the AFC Championship game. The Super Bowl isn't going to even come close to it.

After that it's going to be a long couple of months with just basketball. No hockey season hurts. :( On the bright side spring training for MLB starts in a little over a month. Loopz, I hope you have fun watching Javier Vazquez now that the Big Unit has fled the desert. :) Sportscenter is going to suck for awhile. It's probably going to be a hour of basketball highlights and baseball rumors after the NFL is done.

The SD/NYJ game was a good watch and so was the sea/stl one. Man can anybody catch on the Seahawks. The Min game didn't shock me knowing the numbers Moss puts up on GB. I really don't place the blame on Favre because one of GB WR was hurt can't remember which one. Blame the defense GB defense was shitty plain and simple. I predict Atl or STL to be the NFC champs. I wouldn't be shocked if the Eagles lose right off the bat. I hope the Colts go for the AFC or anybody besides the Steelers for that matter. It wouldn't bother me so much but PIT QB is overrated. If I had two pro bowl RB and WR and an all pro line and the n.1 ranked defense I'm pretty sure I could win too :oh_no: Sucks because I'm a huge Bettis fan but I can't stand that QB  I think a Falcons vs Colts SB. That would make an awesome game :buttrock:

Vikings didn't surprise me Farve throwing 4 INT and really most of them weren't his fault. But when he did that illegal forward pass 4 yards past the line of scrimage I knew everything was over. They can't do it with that suck ass defense. They had the same problem all year. This time the Vikings were ready for it.

I am confident the Colts will beat the Patriots Vanderjagt won't miss the kick, which it won't come to this time. The Partiots are on thin ice and its time for it to break. Come on Brady play like you did against Miami. That other AFC game doesn't matter it's obvious I think...

NFC is more intersting. Two 8-8 teams that's crazy. Falcons and Vikings in the championship game unless the Eagles can do something without T.O.
