It's a decent movie, but nowhere near as good as the first.

It reminds me of that time when Hollywood was trying to ram Jack Black down our throats with every flick he put out.

IMO, seriously I think America just wants to watch silly, funny movies about things that happen here at home. Just something to get their mind off of all the morbid happenings in Iraq, South Asia, and the bad wrap America and especially Bush has received with the world.
Ben Stiller is ok. Notice how Hollywood always fits him to play "the foolish yet honest boyfriend". Something About Mary, which was truly a fine movie, and a funny one at that is another example of this.

unless it's a sci-fi flick you are wasting your time asking about it here (just look at every other movie thread here). This place is full of older, jaded gamers who arent satisfied with much these days. The only person with a love of films who would probably give you good feedback would be Bobak.
Anyway, if you didn't like "meet the parents" I don't know why your asking this anyway. MTP was a success at the box office so it's not like the sequal will be straying from the formula.

As far as Tenacious D goes, they are incredible. The Complete Masterworks DVD is outstanding and is packed with awsome content like the above mentioned HBO episodes, a full concert, and a bunch of skits. Very talented guys.
