Greetings all.
Here are some pictures of the suspect cart.
Note that the two PCB's are a different colour and the dates on them are different.
Is it a boot though? That's the question, isn't it. :spock:
Any help would be appreciated, fellas.

Not a boot, mine looks just like that and it's legit.

Really?
It strikes me as odd that the boards are different though, wouldn't you agree?
I've never seen that before, personally.
Still, if you say it's legitimate then I shall rejoice in that knowledge. :glee:
Thanks for your time DanAdamKOF.

Looks legit to me. Different boards in the same cart aren't really all that uncommon. I wouldn't sweat it.
If I remember correctly, I think I got different boards from a brand new MVS kit from a very reputable dealer.

Ahh. Comforting words.
I thought it was strange, but clearly I worry needlessly.
Many thanks.

Its legit.
SNK used a different manufacturer for the PROG board, that's why it has a darker color.

You may see the same cart with all sharp or all toshiba mask roms, towards the end of a production run they may end up with a combination.
Definately legit

Thanks for all your help guys.
If one does end up with a bootleg cart, are there any risks associated with their use?
Can they possibly damage your board?

The only thing I think that is likely to get damaged is your reputation, probably from selling it unwittingly as a legit cart.
You may get some sound and/or graphical glitches with boots, but I've never heard of one causing damage before.

I appear to be safe then.
I only buy my games to play, not to sell.
I'd top myself if my 6F got fried by a bent cart y'see. I'm a little paranoid. :eek_2:
Thanks for the info, mate.
