:help: I've been using the X-neo-1 lately for my un-modded system and I noticed that there are wave like patterns in the backround. I don't know how to describe it very well but it seems very apparent in the blue background of the openning of SVC: Chaos.

You have a mid serial AES.

The only way to remove that artifact banding is to send it off to Jeff Kurtz for the NeoBitz mod, (which costs less than the XNeo-1 and outputs a far better picture in Component and S-Video)

Get a Universe Bios installed while you're at it as that takes the neo experience to a whole new level.

You were given this advice before prior to buying an AES and you got an XNEO-1 instead? lol

I've had this AES long before the advice was given.Anyway, I placed an order with JGN for another great Jeff Kurtz Mega Neo with the unibios(Had one with the debug bios before). I still need an unmodded Neo for back-up that's why I got an X-neo.

Thanks for the advice and the reminder :buttrock:

Having a second neo for "backup" is a little bit unessicary dude.

These things work for decades regardless of the mods installed as long as you can keep them clean.
