metal slug 3

I was just reading the IGN review of metal slug 3 and boy I cannot say how much I disagree with the way this person reviewed the title with suck bias.

Although I didn't buy metal slug 3 for it (I bought for PS2), my friend has. To rate a game as this reviewer says 'as an x-box title' as they have is ridiculous. Fair enough if they state their opinion that they don't like this game and hense give it a bad rating to reflect this, but to somehow suggest that it shouldn't be as it is because it is on an x-box is a bit sad. If I didn't have the PS2 version already, then Metal Slug 3 I would consider a must have x-box game along with outrun 2 and snk vs capcom chaos... I cannot think of any other x-box game as good as Metal Slug 3 - I'd have to say it is THE BEST game on the x-box.

Some games don't last the test of time, others do - *ALL* of the Metal Slugs fall into this category - they are totally awesome.

IGN is just afraid that their paying audience, who are obviously morons, will get the game and not like it after getting their dicks knocked in the dirt by a game where you can't save every 7 steps.

I can't imagine how anyone would rate Metal Slug 3(AES OR PORT) that way, it was an extremely fun game. What a...

I wonder if the reviewer was paid by SONY of America?

I just think this game needs to be reviewed in the proper context. It is not supposed to be like Halo 2 or GTA SanAndreas. This is a classic side scolling arcade game that has won the hearts of millions for its great gameplay.

Thank god it isn't. But if I were reviewing either Halo2 or GTA, I wouldn't rate them a particular way because of the platform they were on or their genre, I'd rate them positively for their merrits and negatively for their downfall, the fact I don't like either is actually their genres to me suck, but that doesn't mean they are bad games.

Wouldn't it be fun given the resources and time to take the mickey out of IGN and rate every game which is a good arcade game on the x-box positively and anything that wasn't an arcade game negatively?

I hate it when people like this ridiculous woman try to bolster their hollow, negative reviews with ill-informed shit like:

"It should be noted that unlike the arcade version, the blood is red and plentiful on Xbox"
