Why does the girl in the game suck ass? She gets stuck on the fucking grass. I die all the time because she sucks so bad. Has anyone else had this problem?

Are you playing as her or have her as a party member. Basically you do all the work. No matter who I had with me I did all the work. When running around I would choose my steps carefully because when you are going from high to low grown they would get stuck.

Sword of Mana for GBA

I just started out and I'm in the cave. I'm the dude and the girl that's with me gets stuck on everything and I keep dying. I guess I just suck?

Just Level up you and your sword as much as you can. Then go for it you should be able to take out most of the stuff by your self. As for her getting stuck the ai is so stupid it happens all the time.

Maybe i'm just not cool, but I played this game for about half an hour and thought it was boring and dumb. The controls in the game fucking suck and are slow. The game kinda reminded me of Alundra on PSX except the control in Alundra was actually pretty good. I don't know, maybe it takes an hour or so for your character to not suck. Not my cup of tea.

I loved Secret of Mana... and I too feel that Sword of Mana is sluggish and inept at times.

I'm not trying too hard to like it though. Toys R Us is selling it uber cheap... $13 brand new... I can't go wrong with that.
