Just picked this up, fucking awesome, not all their best songs, but the best of the best, all remastered, 14 tracks. Welcome to the Jungle bitches! :buttrock:

I've been debating this, as they had it on sale at my local music shop for $9.99. I just have a hard time with greatest hits cd's for bands I really like, because I either don't agree with their song choices, or I already have the original albums.

i have the old cds too, the songs sound so much louder and vibrant on the greatest hits, not as tinny as the old ones. a remastered boxset of their whole catalog would fucking own.

A great pick up. I bought it the day it came out. They should of made a double disc but GnR only have 3 cd's so it doesn't make sense I guess.

They toured for about a week but then stopped for no reason. Good thing I caught them in Cleveland. Good show Axel was great. Alot of people said he was lip singing or reading off monitors even though he wasn't at the one I was at. All I have to say is the 2 new songs they played put Velvet Revolver to shame .

Hell yeah they were. I don't see how people put them and Poison in the same genre :oh_no: I guess people are just stupid.

they where a rock band through and through along with all the disfuncional behaviour and drugs/booze. I've always seen them as Sex Pistols meets Rolling Stones.
I was heavily into them as a kid but then Alice in Chains came along and they became a distant memory. but I think they are much closer to AiC than other 80's cock rock bands (you look at old AiC pictures and you see the same bouffon hairstyles and hint of makeup. same with Pantera. the difference was musical and lyrical). the likes of Skid Row and Motley Crue can suck my dick.
I'd like to hear this new stuff.

14 tracks, no duplicate songs, it's pretty much a singles collection with a few other songs thrown in, still great and remastered.

The greatest hits CD was already released 17 years ago. It was called Appetite for Destruction, DUH. Ever song on that album belongs.
