The two dont really go hand in hand, I know, except that Neo Geo is normally the reason why I struggle to pay my mortgage, but, I thought this might be of interest for other UK members here(as im assuming its different the world over) looking to get a mortage.
I bought my first house last November, and as I had just turned 22(literally) and was looking to buy on my own, it was abit of a struggle to get a mortgage.
I actually got it throught the Natwest, and one of the main factors why I got a mortgage with them was down to my assest(which primarily included my aes collection.)
Some people on here flame those that are only interested in buying for "value" or to say that they actually own the title rather than playing - fair enough, cant argue with that - BUT on this occasion, due to the asset value of my collection, my bike and my car(which I all own) it was enough of an asset for them to help pass it......
So, the moral of the story? Well, there isnt one really, but it does show that all the cash Ive thrown at my aes wasnt in vain...
