Okay, I really like old school hip hop, we have one of those XM radios in the car, and there's an old school hip hop station that I listen to. Only problem is that I don't know too many names of artists. I got myself a Stanton STR8-30, new monster cables, and a phono preamp (what was recomended to me by my friend), and gave my old turntable back to my grandpa. Can you guys give me some suggestions of artists to get me started? Thanks in advance.

XM 202 is the only XM channel you should listen to right now.

That is all.

So I got Run DMC Raising Hell, Missy Elliot Supa Dupa Fly, and something from the Beasty Boys today. Any other suggestions?

of all of the 100s of records i own these are the ones that have gotten the most playtime.

all natural - it's o.k.
afu-ra - wirlwind through cities
edan - sprain your tapedeck ep
cage - agent orange
big l - ebonics
juggaknots - clear blue skies

shit, i wish i had my records in front of me(they're in storage right now) i can't remember any others. these are less obvious classics, others will recommend all of the well-known records.
