I'm sure that you guys remember that game on Sega Genesis and Sega Saturn. Especially SF2(That game was awesome). But Man, I'm upset what sega has done to my beloved classic when I heard the news! They are planning to release it in Japan on PS2(and for the U.S., I think, It's called Shining Force NEO). They've managed to turn it from a strategy RPG to a button-mashing action RPG(kind of like another FF game). :mad_2: :oh_no: :oh_no: Do we seriously need another FF game? I know a lot of SF fans will be pissed about this. And not only that, it's being made by the same team who did Shining Tears(Amusement Vision), and that game was a flop. And this will play the exact same thing like Shining Tears. They've shouldn't not made it if it wasn't going to be this way.

Anyway. Shining Force 3 for Saturn bored the crap out of me. 1 1/2 hour battles just to die suck.

In don't think you can blame Sega for using the Shining name and having a game that isn't a Strategy RPG...they have after all been using it for years for other game types.

Shining in the Darkness & Shining the HolyArk were Dungeon Crawlers

Shining Wisdom was an Action RPGs

The Shining Soul games were Action RPGs

I think you need to just deal.

yeah gamefaqs is cool to hang out on... you can't even post "bum" there without getting moderated. all the members are so used to the nazi style moderation they are starting to turn into little hitler's themselves.

Blackismo is all smiles and roll-eyes one minute and at the drop of a pickle jar he's got very angry flaming smilies coming out the wazoo. Blackismo's wazoo is a sticky wicket. For his birthday I'm going to give G-Russ a mood ring so I can watch the cool color flashing effect.

I pick on people much like butta picks his nose. When i'm done I wipe them under my chair. One day a co worker will flip my chair over and see the mess I have made. Then I will laugh and go outside for a smoke.
