I got to play Cotton 2 tonight (finally, I won it off eBay quite some time ago but it got lost in the shuffle).

Now I played CB at one point and sold it away, although I liked it the difficulty irked me. I was told Cotton 2 was similar but much easier.

Well, it is similar all right, and it was much easier. I was able to beat the game on my first try without much stress. I liked how they didn't have the weird 3 ship system as they did in Boomerang. Overall, Cotton 2's a keeper and if given a choice of one of them, I'd recommend 2 because I think it's the better game and also, it's like $25-$35, whereas Boomerang is around $50+

Cotton 2 utilizes the 1 meg ram cart. Not sure about the 4 megger.

Cotton 2 has good graphics. The music really didn't stand out to me though. But overall, a great shooter. I recommend it. If you remember mate, SSM did a 2 page feature on Cotton 2. (I believe it was issue 28 or so? *shrugs*)

I'd have to say I always was impressed and liked Panorama Cotton for the MEGA DRIVE over all of the versions ever made. Pretty fuckin' cool stuff for the hardware that was pushing it.
