It was a great night...

From a crappy AES stick with a non-working "A" button...

3.00 PM here in Italy and we just finished the "soldering-phase" for buttons... it worked!!!

Now directional movement and "Start" button works too!
Work in progress for the "case" in solid wood (painted black). We have yet true arcade buttons and true stick! :smirk:

Neogeo it's also this. :buttrock: :buttrock: :buttrock:

To be continued...

I'm just wondering why you needed an AES stick... What part of it did you use?

we've used only the cable...
It was an old AES stick in very bad conditions and with the "A" button not working... So no I will build an homemade arcade stick with parts of REAL arcade cabs (I have 2 industries near my home!) so when we play we can "smash" buttons as we like!!! (whe can change them as we like!)
(I will buy another AES stick "for collection" in near future)

Oh well, if the AES stick wasn't working then it doesn't matter, but you can use a regular PC controller extension cable, or solder the wires yourself to a DB15 port.

We know, but it's hard to find a DB15 connector that fit into the neo geo pad. I'fe foudn a lot of DB15 connectors with lateral metal "wings" (for pc) so useless for Neogeo... And it's difficult to find the pc controller extension cables!!!

I can buy the cables for 5€ here in Barcelona, the connector is made of plastic so I can cut it with a knife in order to make it fit in the deeper Neo socket.
