PSP CES report Launch titles (56k unfriendly)

Please tell me that the psp games look better than this... If not I'm sorry but I'll just keep my ds.

The only game i ll get in US will be mercury, the other US exclusives do not appeal me
lumines, puyo puyo, legend of heroes, mojipittan(english translated of course), GT4, Ys are nowhere to be found near the release date btw
Actually these are the games developped with the initial revision of the devkit, it appears that the machine can in fact handle twice the amount of polygons (using a smarter combination of the dual CPUs i guess).
I find my games really great anyway visually talking in motion.
For the DS, all 3D games look like shit screenshot-wise, only the 60fps motion make them decent to play with their low-polycount, low resolution, and unfiltered textures.
Anyway, i still play mappy so what matters is games

Fact: all ea sports titles suck.

Btw, not only EA sports, cars too... the last EA sports game i liked was fifa 98 on PC because we played in near full team-LAN then... finished, the last racing game from EA was NFS Hot Pursuit 2 then... finished.

I'd ignore those on DS or cube too.
The games industry is sorely lacking, well its not, its brimming.. full of crap.
and it'll never change because people like playing these mediocre titles.
now, excuse me while I take my 3rd xbox/ps2 back to the store, as the exquisite software library requires me to have one of these consoles, regardless of the build quality / or fact I had to take it back more than once to get a working model. \o/

I already have a psp preordered, but I'm not quite sure what to pick up when it gets here...

Get an import PSP, you will get the best build of the console.

Other than Ridge Racer and Darkstalkers, I can't say I'm too fond of that lineup. Ape Escape and Wipeout are somewhat interesting but they've lost their charm on me.
Too bad Darkstalkers isn't optimized like Pink Peach said in the other thread. I'll probably skip launch and wait until the library builds (and new builds of the system come out as well).
