I've looked everywhere on the net and i just cant find one.
Was one ever made??

Nope. No official MM made for this game.
If you recall, arcadeshock offered a bunch of official SNKP MM's after the fact for the last few MVS releases (MS4, SSV, SVC, KOF2k3, etc) but Matrimelee didn't get one.

KOF 2k2 and Pochi & Nyaa had those paper MM's. I initially thought they were small flyers, but alas they are the mm's.
At least my kits have them...

Lithy's been working on a way to reproduce MM's that we've created ourselves. If you sweet talk him he might make and sell some to you (cost of production only).

I've bought a few minis from lithy, and he definitely does nice work. Bought a Matrimelee MM from him, in fact, and it looks pretty damned good. ;)

What a great thread that is! I was following the old thread (a long time ago), but then finals or something got in the way and nothing had happened. Those finished products look really great. If I can beat back my natural laziness, I may just try to imitate the process and make some myself. If I can't (the laziness gene is strong in me), I may have to purchase some of those from Lithy, if he has any left or makes more. Especially Matrimelee, which I've been promising myself an MVS kit of for months. If I do end up trying to make a KOF '01 MM, I think I would try to use the illustration from the DC port cover... can be seen here. (The sitting Kula)

Seriously, great job, Lithy.

Apparently those were made special just for Arcade Shock. Most collectors don't really consider them to be "official", but I think they were done pretty well.

Only reason they're not considered "official" is because the majority of "collectors" already had these kits by the time these MM's were released. Theyre official SNK product and add value to anyone that has it with his/her kit.

I don't see it that way. They weren't made by SNK/Playmore at the time of the rest of the kit, as every official mini marquee for any MVS game was before. (that I know of). In fact, they weren't made by SNK/Playmore at all. My understanding is that they were produced here by SNK USA.

Carts, large marquees, dip sheets, move stickers, flyers -- all made by Playmore at the time of the kit's production. These mini marquees -- made later, not by Playmore.

Are they great to have: Yes.

Official: No.

imo.

Thanks for drawing more attention to the lowly Creative forum :)

I haven't done any work on the project since early December as I am still at home until this Sunday.

When I get back I plan on adding fan done mini marquees for the games that have Arcade Shock minis

Also Metal Slug 3 does not have 2 different marquees, the kit had two different runs, one with a mini, one without, but only one type of mini.

So the full list should be

Paper mini marquees
Pochi and Nyaa
King of Fighters 2002
Rage of the Dragons

Arcade Shock mini marquees
SNK vs. Capcom
King of Fighters 2003
Metal Slug 4
Metal Slug 5
Samurai Shodown 5

no mini marquee (see Creative thread for fan made options)
King of Fighters 2001
Sengoku 3
Nightmare in the Dark
Zupapa
Matrimelee
Samurai Shodown 5 Special

no game release and no mini (see thread also)
