A Deal with Joshua

I will try to keep this post opinion free and post only facts. you can respond any way you wish. but i am not out to ruin anyone's reputation.

ok! great looks like joshua got banned so neo-geo.com's system took the liberty to destroy all my pm's from him. so much for this post.

[edit] ok, thankfully i still have all the pm notices but not my side of the messages so this post will be turned into more of a story then facts. here we go

On December 13th (or so) Joshua (neogeoswordsman at the time) offered $35 for his japan capcom A Board. i snapped up this offer quickly and we agreed to $45 US for the board to cover shipping. By December 19th i sent the money order for $45 US as promised.

and he quoted on december 18th

Between december 19th and january 9th there was no contact between us. i sent a message asking if he had recieved the money order, he responded

well i waited and again no board, this time he contacted me. keep in mind this was during the whole posts about kyo-2000 or whatever his old nick was being heavely trashed.

so great, a partial refund was not necessary. i didnt care he could have sent one or not just as long as he sent what was promised in the deal. i sent another message to him congratulating him for being so honest with me and i mentioned that some other members would try and lie their way out of it (not naming any names, i have not had a bad deal as of yet) he responded

I remeber, I wanted that board too.. But while he was kyo2000 I got the extras for rotd and a soundtrack. I also got some ngf preview tapes for neo games

What it comes down to and the important thing is you got you items. As for taking as long as he did, you at least received your package. Other members on this board have not been so lucky and I have had quite an issue with Joshua in the past.

Personally, his rep and his ability to sell will be quite crippled because of his past dealings. He has had more than one deal go sour. Joshua is no victim here. He has made alot of enemies here.

so it was basically sent on Feb 5th, right?

That sucks. That is a joke. Waiting 2 months for a product is just beyond crap. Especially if he was not waiting on it to arrive, or if there was shipping problems with a place he got it...etc. If it is sitting in his possession... that should NEVER take more than 2 weeks to get to its destination.... (of course unless the post office lost it).

At least you got it... 1/6 of the year gone though.

This guy Joshua is a real ass! Why would anyone ever deal with him. He may be banned, but seems he keeps coming back under another ID! At least you got what you paid for, but man what a headache to get what you paid for in the first place!!!!

How did he get on that list? I never had any problem with him, and the person that called him a scammer did so on the basis of the condition being off by a single grade. And given that his prices were so good, I think that's a shaky complaint.

Anyway, the second that the shit started flying he closed his deals and left. Personally I'd buy again from him before buying from some of the sellers on the forum nowadays.

Yeah, I have to back up neojedi on this one. I had a couple of excellent deals with Pichai. He sold me some "mint" stuff.. and it came quite minty. I would definitely deal with him again if he were still around.

I agree too, Pichai was a great seller. I remember his goodbye thread and I was reading how somebody said he ripped them off or whatever (I think it was Mike, although I'm not too sure). I couldn't believe it frown

geman i live way way south in lake chaparral... so very far from civilization. think wouthern eastern tip of calgary. by the way know any other areas with neo geo arcades besides the university?

All I know about NG cab is in the university. It has MS4 and KOF2k2 recently. I think KOF2k2 has gone.

He claims in a e-mail sent to me he is here and active and made 5 deals after his ban.
