Inside a Nintendo DS Cart + I hate Kernow!!!

Hi people...happy new year.

Just thought I would share my experience when I opened one of my DS carts.

Its pretty basic really, one large slimline Rom:

A few Tiny Resisters and nothing on the back.

Looks pretty simple and for all the gaming and nice graphics technology has moved forward fast.

They havent made it hard for the Jap Pirates, but im sure the Flash device will be out anyway. Not that its on my mind to pirate since the games are pretty damn cheap anyway.

Done some pics, I have pretty medium sized hands, but ive done one pic with a matchstick next to it too so you can see the size of the interior.

It would be interesting to know how big these games are...since some of the titles are simular to N64 games we could be looking at 700mb and above.

NTR-APPE-0 J2

This code won't mean anything to anyone. "NTR" stands for "Nitro", the DS codename, so all things DS have "NTR" on the chip.

The carts are actually a lot bigger than N64 carts. N64 carts are usually 32 megabytes, and maximum 64 megabytes- GBA-sized. The standard DS cart is 128 megabytes, (rhough they could potentially be bigger if it becomes economical)

One note: it is now known they are not the famed "Matrix semiconductor" chips.
