If you ask nicely I'll take that PSP off your hands in order to make up my own mind ;)

Following along with TonK is like watching a soap opera. I need to find some cheesey music to play while I read his post. Glad to see you enjoy your purchases though, that's pretty much what matters. I guess if you've got the money, why not? Ironically, that's a decent shot comparing the screens on the PSP and DS. What brightness setting is that on the PSP? I'm going to guess it's one notch below max. Hum, PSP's screen isn't quite as big as I thought it would be in comparison. I get just as much game on my two screens (if not more) from playing Mr. Driller.

Is this thread for real? Countdown to Tonk's "PSP > DS, I re-made up my mind" thread: 2 days, 5 hours.

Anyway, I'm glad you're having fun with them, whichever you like more. They both look cool.

but then this is what the masses want

low quality ubertechnology that breaks within a year , and includes everything you could possibly need, kettle, small philipino boy, razor, double bed.. dvd player, cd player.. fuck all that.. I want to play games.

PSP is the one most impressive piece of hardware in years. I couldn't help being blown away by RR.

Haven't seen a DS in person, so can't comment. But the PSP, yea, it's great.

I love seeing Tonk go back and forth. This is like a episode of the Real World. I'm tuning everyday to see what happens with THE DR4M4!

Well if you guys think about it...

I blindly said that the PSP would suck = my bad

Then I got one, and after I got past the graphics I saw that the DS is a better machine = my bad again

DS > PSP

I own both and thats it.

Wait I'm lost how many ds' do you have? How many have you sold? Does this auction mean that you no longer have a ds after saying that you love it again? Will Sherif Woody be able to save the day?

Tune in next time for another exciting episode of Tonk's Round Up?

To steer this thread back towards its topic...:)
I just got a DS a few days ago. So far I'm really enjoying it. The selection of titles right now is total shit, but I'm sure that will change. With the new Castlevania being confirmed, the DS will probably have a "system seller" game( a lot of people seem to be eagerly anticipating it).
I won't buy a PSP until they sort out the battery situation. If they can get it to run as long as a GBA or DS, I'd probably be willing to shell out for it. Why is the battery so important? I usually play my handhelds for at least 2 or 3 hours at a time, and I don't like recharging them in between sessions. So far, the DS is doing a great job on battery life for me and I love the fact that you can walk around with two games plugged into it.
Definitely worth the launch price, IMHO.
