I'm bored tonight. :p ...I'm looking at various arcade machine auctions on Ebay and came across this:

Why does this look to me to be a Neo Geo MVS cab/converted.....Could it be..?

Just Curious...
I figure the Tech Guys might know..

The coin inserts on the coin door look identical to MVS..They are not the usual type, they have rounder edges.(I need one)

Does this machine/set up Come in a dedicated cab..or is this some sort of hack PCB..?....or boufght as a kit for conversion..
Where the heck do they get the Marquee/and CP overlay..

I would not mind owning this..(It's not far from me)...But it would bug me in all honesty knowing under there once was a Big Red..

It wouls look nice next to another Big Red though...

I must admit it looks pretty much like it. Multi Williams ? didnt know it existed.

Maybe the manufacturer of the cabs used the same design for other than MVS.

I know there are cabs that are almost identical to the Pacific L&A mvs cabs used for other games (not conversions)

Converting a jamma cab to mvs is OK but visa-versa, ouch.

Sorry I'm so long in responding / finding this but:

Looks pretty cool, but the button layout needed to support Stargate would be pretty tough without dedicating a cabinet to it.

And yup, that was a MVS cabinet.

Thanks for the link Briggs..

The price for the Multi Board seems pretty fair..
Shoot,I'm thinking of picking one up soon.

I'm just curious if it's plug in play or are major changes needed to put it in a jamma cab..or even in a MVS cab..
