For anyone who's been using ebay for the past few months, this is a familiar name. I've just been thinking, especially with the dozens of starting at 50 dollar metal slug, samurai shodown 5 and kof 2k3 kits, and nearly 10 to 15 new carts listed a day, how does everyone think this will effect the market? He's got to have released a couple thousand carts into the market, and seems to still be going strong. Any effect on MVS prices on the whole market? For those who haven't seen it, this is pretty common for the amount of stuff he has for sale

Never really thought about it till just now. Youre right. That looks pretty devistating to the market if this guy doesnt slow down. I mean flooding of this nature is going to be really bad for MVS.

Then again they all say "WORKING". I bet the guy doesnt know if he has a boot or not. I hear complaints about people getting from him a lot.

Yeah, I think the majority of his stuff is real, but I've heard a few boot stories. I guess he'll trade out for boots. I just wonder how large his warehouse is. Buying a metal slug 5 full kit for 100 bucks is a good price now, but if he unloads 300 50 dollar kits and drops the average price by 30 bucks a kit, I'll feel pretty dumb :)

That guy has 17+ MS5 kits. Its going to take a while for the market to rebound if he keeps selling like that.

Yeah, I basically have been able to put the amount i want, lose it, put it on another one, lose it, and if it keeps going, eventually I'm going to win :) He's like the MVS walmart.

pretty similar to telegames in the uk after they've flooded ebay with thousands of copies of new nams, magician lord, ninja combat, riding hero, super spy etc etc - to the point where these games are worth pretty much nothing at the moment.

I don't see what's wrong with this, as long as all their carts are original as he claims (I can't remember if somebody said that he got bootlegs from him) and has good selling practices.

News Flash: The MVS loose cart market has always been going down price. Will all his stock make prices lower? Possibly, but prices would have gone down anyway naturally, maybe this will only accelerate it a bit.

Bad for MVS market? Well, buyers are going to be happy, it's only bad for people with interest in selling and speculators. If you are worried about the price of the stuff you buy for playing going down, then you are not buying it just for playing. If you want your stuff to be collectible and keep its price or increase it, then go for buying complete MVS kits of the older games (most MVS kits of newer games are readily available in the market) or directly minty AES carts.

But please leave the MVS loose carts where they are: cheap and easy to find for gamers.

They still go over the $50 mark due to bidders. I'd still rather go through Arcadeshock and pay a little more to get the marquees and extras, not to mention outstanding service I can trust.

Well, I was offered magical drop 2 for 75 and 95 dollars shipped. I got it from Yanton for 45 shipped. I'll have to check it to make sure that it's not a boot, but between that and my 42 dollar shipped rage of the dragons full kit, i'd say I did pretty well.

I like arcade shock but it's taken them forever to get back to me on my trade in for D&D cps2 for a matrimelee kit.
