I just hope they buy the DS not because it is the DS but because there is a game released they want to play on it :)


The funny thing:
in japan

From the release (12/2) to 3 days later (12/5), the nintendo DS sold more than 500,000 units

however:
Super Mario 64DS sold 126200 units
Sawaru Made in Wario sold 117677 units
Pokemon Dash sold 50011 units
Band Brothers sold 32272 units
Kimi no tame narashineru sold 27062 units
chokkan hitofude sold 20203 units
kenshuui　sold 17478 units
Mister Driller sold 7773 units

total 398676 units

so... what happens ? 100 000 owners bought it only to play GBA games and pictochat ? I mean... i would never buy a system without at least ONE game

what do you think ? :)

edit: famitsu might be wrong a bit on the numbers, but not by 1/4th (the system hitting the 50man with their shop list too)

The DS already sold millions more units than the Neo Geo AES ever did, so does that make the DS the better system? Remember, it's all about good taste and good games, not Mario. (Not that there's anything wrong with Mario, but you get the picture).
