As opposed to people disregarding any negative feedback on systems as myth, perhaps its simply just another defective part. Sure not thought, that would make far to much sense. Odds are problems like that are much like dead pixels. I have yet to have any experience with dead pixels on any of my handhelds and yet people seem to find the without much trouble. I've had dust in my GBA SP screen, however. Just because it isn't a problem for you, doesn't mean it isn't a problem on another system. Just be picky about your purchase, you get something that isn't working right, don't keep it, complain, get it fixed, replaced, whatever. You paid good money for it, so you deserve a fully operational problem free system. Seems perfectly reasonable to me.
