The guy has his pointer finger where the disk release is and presses it while pretending to twist it...

I twisted and turned mine and the door stayed shut.

Well this one is fake, but gamespot did manage to eject by twisting anyway it is not something that would happen unintentionaly.

As to the flying-disc glitch, we were brave enough to use one of our precious PSP units to test the theory. We stabilized the unit with our left hand, turned forward ever so slightly with our right and--SHAZAM!--out the disc popped.

As opposed to people disregarding any negative feedback on systems as myth, perhaps its simply just another defective part. Sure not thought, that would make far to much sense. Odds are problems like that are much like dead pixels. I have yet to have any experience with dead pixels on any of my handhelds and yet people seem to find the without much trouble. I've had dust in my GBA SP screen, however. Just because it isn't a problem for you, doesn't mean it isn't a problem on another system. Just be picky about your purchase, you get something that isn't working right, don't keep it, complain, get it fixed, replaced, whatever. You paid good money for it, so you deserve a fully operational problem free system. Seems perfectly reasonable to me.

my first NGPC had one dead pixel! When I took it back the manager didn't believe me, he thought I was returning my B&W one for another color I think. But lol and behold I showwed him the dead pixel! I got another and had it since.
