I saw this auction, here http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6140529153

and I asked if it was a cheap port or imitation, the Vender stated this...

This is an original game manufactured by Vektorlogic - the first in a series of new MVS games. There is no license required as the proprietary info is all Vektorlogic Intellectual Property - only the databus is of SNK design, which is not an IP right. I can send you a colour brochure via e-mail if required - Regards - Jeff F - PS the cocktail version is now available and the new neo geo cocktail table is also now available on sale in the UK 1 Jan 05

Whats the deal? Is this True?

Also, WTF is this?

SSVS (MVS/AES) is the newest and last game ever made for the Neo Geo.

I'm sorry, I am not exactly a Neo Geo nerd and up to date, so maybe someone can answer a question on this particular MVS cart.

The first one is a sort of homebrew game that came out about a 8 months or so ago. There was some excitement about it at the time, but I think it has pretty much all run dry. The makers of the game had a thread about all the different games that they had in production, but there hasn't been a word said about it in quite some time now - I'm afraid they've moved on.

Oh, and the second game is just a cheap hack of KOF 2003. Some get it because they enjoy collecting such things and view them as novelty items. Not my thing personally, but whatever turns you on I guess.

I've been curious about these too.

1) has anyone played super bubble pop? Is it any fun? I am a huge puzzle mark.

2) Kof2k4 homebrew, is it tag out format? what is the character set?

I've played Super Bubble Pop (on console, not MVS), and I think it's a really lousy puzzle game. I don't really care to write a review of it right now, but suffice to say it's mediocre.

1. I own it and it's almost identical to the GBA version.

2. I own it and it is the 2002 character set, and you can shrink or enlarge your character during play. Some nice backgrounds and story; best of the hack games as far as quality.
