Hello all, I am new here, but not to gaming or Neo Geo. Long story short, I decided to build a supergun to play JAMMA as well as MVS games. I just finished it today and tried it out with a JAMMA pcb "street smart" Well, the test screen comes up at first and looks good. Then the title screen comes on and it is upside down. Also the game plays with the picture upside down. Since I have no other games to test with, I was wondering if this sounds like a problem with the game pcb, or with my supergun. Like I said, the test screen is all right side up. I am using the Jrok encoder to change the RGB signal to S-video. The picture is ok, only upside down. I plan on getting more games, but I would like to know where the upside down problem is coming from. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If the test screen is the right side up, it's obviously caused by the PCB.
Can't you change some dip switches or settings in the game's settings menu to turn the screen around?

Alright, here we go:
Street Smart has a physical "switch screen" dip switch somewhere on the board, judging by mame.
Not sure which one it is, but try them all. :)

I would say most jamma boardsets would hve a screen flip dipswitch- there are many that dont though.
If not, it has to be a hack on the monitors deflection yoke (scan coils), simply reverse the horizontal and vertical scan red/blue usually horizontal, green/yellow usually vertical.
