I got my PSP today and behold... a white dead pixel. 
Guy who got it for me is going to return it after the holiday though so it's no foul. I fully knew the PSP was going to be powerful but it still blew me away on playing RRacers. Been playing the DS version all week and when I started the PSP game my DS started looking a tad hard to pick up.
My real problem with the DS RR is that it just seems kinda unstable. Collisions are rough and cars will sometimes even teleport after a hit. Drifting seems kinda raw too.
PSP RR beyond the extra graphics and even the presentation just feels really solid and faithful to RR. It has a little from pretty much every game so far and it really feels like an advance to the series instead of a simple handheld extension.

The more I play the more this game RULES ALL OTHER RIDGE RACER games. Where's my PS2 port? lol
