Up for sale as I'm off to Japan!
I basically bought the unit broken as a project to fix. The unit was broken due to a bodged bios chip install. After some soldering I fixed the unit and was overjoyed with the fact it's got possible the best RGB output I've seen from a Neo! No banding or interference whatsoever like on alot of the newer boards.
I must stress that if you want to fit a bios chip in the machine you will need previous soldering experience unless you want to render the unit broken! As it is it's running perfectly with NO problems whatsoever.
I'm supplying a fully working USA AES Neo Geo with one original arcade stick, Scart lead, PSU with stepdown convertor and the USA manual. There is a box but it's very rough! Althougth the polystyrene is still in pretty good condition.
I'm also supplying with this unit a brand new CYP Scart to YUV (Component) convertor to make best use of the RGB on Plasma/Projector displays (or other displays with component inputs) as it's the only way you'll appreciate the output from this excellent Neo.
The Neo unit has scratches on the base and a couple around the cartridge slot, all the printed text and logos are perfect. The stick has a new ball on it and has no marks on it, the lettering is faded very slightly but is all still ledgible, it even still has the Neo Geo Made in Japan sticker underneath which is mint.
Last of all I'm including a good old mint condition JAP Fatal Fury Special (manual, baggie and cart).
I'm looking for offers around £200 plus shipping, thanks for looking!
P.S. I'll post up pics once I get hold of a digital camera, I can scan anything in the meantime for anyone wanting pics. I've sold a fair few Neo items and have had very good feedback for anyone wondering about my Neo background.
