Well I emailed the buyer of his last PSP. And I have not paid yet. I am a fair person, guy prolly figured he'd make a bundle on selling PSP's and started a new account. I'll give him a chance. Plus I am paying via Credit Card, and If I dont get me goods, he'll get a charge back. I am somewhat protected via that way and Paypal. We'll see, just pray for me okay?

It's really too tough to wait for a week or two after christmas?

edit: there's also the chance prices drop on the 22nd as that's when the second shipment of 500,000+ units goes out in Japan.

It's tough to wait, but I'll do it. Prices have dropped nicely in the last couple days. After Christmas they will be cheap compared to today's prices. ;)

If I had to guess the price will drop this tuesday as there'll be 500,000 new PSP's on the market.

UH NO! total of units to be released in Japan is SUPPOSED to be 500k. That is not certain. Secondly, right after buying this PSP, my buddy in Japan emails me and said he went on this last Thursday to a Toys-R-Us (yes they have one there) (also because a new shippment was supposed to come in that Friday) So anyway he tells me that they were only getting 10 units. He was unable to get there at 10am Friday when they opened because of work. So that means if they (TOYS R US) only gets 10 more units, that means that there prolly isnt going to be a huge shippment or 500k like everyone thinks there might be by the end of Dec. He also stated that there is a huge demand for them still and they are super hard to find anywhere in Japan right now. The demand is certainly higher than the supply.
Plus a buddy just called me right after I bought this PSP, and asked "hey you still have those car parts for sale that are sitting around collecting dust?" I said yup, and he said well I'll buy that K-member and coil overs for $350 cash. BAMM! I thought to myself he just bought a good chunk of my PSP. So no real loss for me.

I would give advice to wait as well. However...I imported a Playstation and a Saturn when they were first released and paid over 800 each for them.

It was great at the time to get them early...but is rarely worth it in the long run.

Well I just got back an email from my Ebay sellers first and previous buyer, here is what he had to say....


He is totally good to go. When I bought it from him he had Zero feedback. Sometimes you just have to trust in the universe and hope someone comes through for you. He was great with email communication and sent me a link with pictures of the item being packed and the finished product with the EMS label on it. He gave me the tracking number so that I could track it. EVERYTHING he said he was going to do, he did.



He’s an outstanding seller and I would buy again from him in a heartbeat.

PS. The PSP unit came in perfect working condition. No defects whatsoever…




Things are looking good so far, I guess sometimes taking a small risk doesn't hurt. And when I thought about it, at the time I bid on it there where 44 other risk takers bidding too.

You're prolly right....I too take medication for my impulse buying problem, LOL.

However after owning a consolized MVS (I had two AES systems before), anyone who continues to but those nifty AES carts at those ourageous prices I think is insane too.

But you know what, it makes them happy and that is all there is to it.

And when my double to price PSP shows up, I too will be in a world of bliss. You live once, many of us polly work our tails off....and for what, so we save our money for a rainy day?
