Which KOF boss is your role model?

For me it's Rugal. C'mon, the guy's the best boss in fighting game history, if not gaming history. He's the cheapest boss you can fight against and also the cheapest character you can play with.
I mean, HOW, just HOW can you resist a guy whose hobby is resurrection? If I were like Rugal, I'd go around gouging people's eyes out, throwing energy blasts the size of humans and also do slashing kicks(Genocide cutter

), staying true to KOF2K2 Rugal, who kicks his opponent away after doing a somersault in the air after the initial 'traditional' Genoooosaaiddd Cutttaaaa(the strong kick version of his Genocide Cutter). I'd also buy my own ship and call it the 'GenocideNoah' and get involved with the dark market.

My favourite incarnation of Rugal is the CvS2 God/Ultimate Rugal...I like his Genocide cutter, where he does a traditional 2-hit genocide cutter, then another of the same 2-hit kind in the air, and then he somersault-kicks the opponent away KOF2K2 style! If you thought KOF '98/KOF '02 Rugal was tough/annoying....God/Ultimate Rugal will be your worst nightmare...

Well Geese was never a boss in any Neo Geo version of KOF.
So I think you can't make him on this list.

Oh and I would say Igniz,to be the great Lord of Neste and rule over all like a god would be funny^-^ and he looks pretty cool.

@RichardDark: The first Fatal Fury game was a King of Fighters. Art of Fighting 2 was a King of Fighters. = Geese is a King of Fighters boss.

Geese is my pick also.

As for Rugal, I didn't like him much in '94, liked him less in '95, and by '98, I hated him. In 2002, he moved back up to mild dislike. He usually gets some pretty good music at least, though.

Well if you see it thats way,it is right thats Geese is a KOF boss.But I still think this FF and AOF2 not count to this series (Even if there the battels was called KOF as well).
Because I still say this AOF and FF had more sytle more cool chars and this a the true legendes of SNK.
KOF'94 was just a fun idea thats gone too far in my eyes and I still prever any FF more then KOF even if they are not bad to play and all thats

So in my option if you wanna make Geese (The King of Boss^.^in my eyes) in a poll make a FF/AOF or a best boss ever poll :tickled:

There are every time diffrent views about thats if you should count Fatal Fury to KOF or not,I think. and in my option Fatal Fury is too good to be counted as a KOF series game.
If you see it so Fatal Fury was and still is the only true KOF out there :buttrock:

I didn't include Geese because I'm not talking about storyline KOFs, I was talking about the games with the "King of Fighters" title in them. Yes, I am aware that AOF2 and some of the FF games(or was it only FF1?) are storyline KOFs and I was also aware that many people would be disappointed with Geese not being included but he's not a 'KOF' boss in the truest sense... I didn't include Adelheid, Krizalid, Orochi and "Clone Zero"(Ling) because they are considered by most people to be the lame bosses in the series...Guess I should've included them, but I can't edit it now

...Though you can all just post whoever is your favourite instead of voting.

I don't like KOF '99, but for bosses, I like Krizalid a lot more than Rugal. Hell, I like Freddie Mercury Zero more than Rugal. I haven't played enough '03 to have an opinion about Adelheid.

But now that I really think about it, I think Rugal is maybe my least favorite Neo boss of all time. I never liked him. I'd rather have Karnov, Neo Dio, Duke from Double Dragon, King Leo and that bird guy, Felden from Galaxy Fight... you name it.

KRIZALID ALL THE WAY DOWN THE HILL

Rugal is a bit cheap (specially the HCB A/C move in 98 of Omega Rugal) and his qcf A/C in 98 is also cheap. In 2K3 both the bosses are cheap from foot to the head!
99 is a good game in may ways and specially for his boss - Krizalid
Kriz is the BEST boss in KOF that I know. He and Goenitz. Goenitz was a great guy if he didn't have those cyclone wall type shits. Specially his DMs are great.

Does anybuddy know how to make Krizalid playable in 99. If someone know then PLEASE tell me.

I don't think he's playable on AES or MVS at all, only on DC and PS. But I forget how.

he's automatically selectable in the DC port...

as for AES, you need a Debug BIOS to access him via Dip Switches...check HERE under the King of Fighters link

98 Rugal ownz any other KOF Boss easily ( gameplay wise ).

That giant Blitz ball and Genocyde cutter are way too overpowered.

Goenitz best boss ever

I vote for Goenitz for sure, cos' I'm fed up seeing Rugal, ever Omega or Alpha, prawling around in the game. I also think that Orochi and Igniz are pretty good, cos' they are Gods, they pretty almighty, their design is marvelous. But definetly, Goenitz will get my vote, cos' first time I saw him, I thought I would never win facing him just when I saw Igniz. Goenitz's best attack is the assault when he grasp the opponent's head and lift his all body in the air and cry something like : okanadis, Besides, we must not forget that he has killed the bad defeated Rugal, who has self-destructed himself. (doko desu ka ?)
