In the NeoGeo Test Mode Input test, does anyone know what the 'EL' setting by the LED tests actually tests and does?

I think that's for the marquee board -- it cycles through the panels -- just a guess.

Yes your right, thanks for that... I take it EL stands for Electronic Lights.

Yup, during that test it keeps running voltage through each panel until you back out of that test screen..
Just as if you kept switching the games using the select switch lighting up each bulb for it's Corresponding game.


They are called electro-luminescent panels......(EL)
