Hey, I've had my AES for less than I week, and damn I'm happy with it, but I have a couple questions.
1. I'm using a minijack-->L/R phono cable right now to pull stereo sound off my unmodded Neo, but something seems strange... it appears as though the left and right channels are reversed. Just to make sure it wasn't a labeling issue on my cable, I used an adapter and phono cable with the same result. Now, the unscientific method I've been using to test this has been Fatal Fury 2. When beating down happens on the left side of the screen, the sounds output on the right speaker, and vice versa. Is this just a programming issue with FF2? Or is it something weird with the channels being reversed through the headphone jack of the AES? If it's just the way that FF2 is, then I'm really embarassed, but I'm curious.
2. I'm just using the standard RCA video to connect the Neo to my TV, since my system is unmodded and an X-Neo is expensive, but I'm noticing something strange. It seems as though there are vertical bars that alternate between lighter and darker shading every couple of inches on my 27" TV... is this one of those "bad video output using composite" known about problems, or is this a bad cable (or, gasp, system)? It's very obvious on whilte or same-colored backgrounds (bios startup [when the background is white[ is a good example).
Thanks in advance, everyone.

I'm a little embarassed... well, actually a lot embarassed. Thanks for the info, though, pretas. Yeah, I think I'm going to have to mod my system pretty soon, but it's just such a tight time for money right now. I really am having troubles looking at my TV without cringing when the striping becomes obvious.
