It would actually be a good way to deter banned members from returning to the forums.

When I saw the "Add a 48 hour delay..." on the front page I thought this would be about adding a 48 hour delay between DashK posts.

when I joined/ applied for membership here it took several days to get registered- coincedentaly its 3999 +1 who is counting[ My folks would be proud of me
