Yeah I have to wait until EB.games to call
my house so my mom or her boyfriend to
go & pick the DS up after Christmas.

I wanted to try my GBA games out on
the DS Handheld. At least I got the
Nintendo DS Handheld for $83 at
EB.games because I traded in 1
GBA Sp w/ AC adaptor & 5 GBA games
and got $75 off.

Check out Target, they seem to get alot in. My local Target got over 100 on launch day and have had 2 shipments in since.

Sams club had them.

EB get around 10-12 a week if your lucky, so your timing is crucial.

I got my Nintendo DS w/ Metroid Prime: Hunters DS
Demo which I opened today for Christmas. Also
I got Shaman King: Master of Spirits for the GBA
& Super Mario 64 DS. Oh and $50.00 too. :kekeke:

Is it just me or do the ds shoulder buttons make you hold the system in an uncomfortable position to play? By uncomfortable I mean my thumbs and fingers have to be scrunched to press all the buttons.

Right now I only have Touch! Made in Wario and it doesn't require any button presses. So I can just lay back with the ds on my stomach and touch away!

The screens on the ds are suprisingly bright and crisp.

With the short time I've had to play I REALLY like my ds!

Same problem here. You can tell they designed the layout for children ( smaller hands ). To work around that problem I push down the shoulder buttons with the middle section of my finger, right on the corner. Finger isn't really curled any, almost pointing upwards going along the side of the DS.

Does your left and right shoulder buttons feel different ? Mine do. The left button takes a little bit more pressure to push it down. Actualy noticed while ago if you push them, the left button has a different sound to it. A higher pitched click. Not complaining about it, they work equaly as well, just something I noticed.

The screens on the ds are suprisingly bright and crisp.

That they are, They got the angle of the screens perfect when opened. Both are viewable at the perfect angle.

I'll admit I was thinking the touch screen was a gimmick idea, but after seeing how it works in with the controls of Metroid, what an amazing idea. The best FPS controls I've ever found when compared to a keyboard and mouse.

Agreed. The controls are excellent its very well suited to FPS, a genre I didn't even think about being capable on the DS before its release.

I would love to see a cell shaded zelda on the ds. Windwaker has some of the best visuals I've ever seen and it is VERY fun to play!
