I think the only thing people will trade one for is $500+ :kekeke:

Free bump :)

Yeah, I saw that. I could have had one (Pre-Buy) for $299.99 last week, but did not have the cash at the time. I guess I will wait for the US Release and make sure I pre-buy it. Finally got a DS today!

Well, if anyone, out of the good in their heart, wants to sell me a PSP for a decent price for my one 4 year old son who is in the hospital with Meningitis so he can enjoy his Christmas while in the hospital LMK! He had Viral Meningitis last year and this time he caught Bacterial and will be in the hospital for a few more weeks. I just want to make him happy. He is a twin and has always been the one of the twins that gets real sick. My other son seems to hardly get sick, but David Jr has had 3 surgeries and been in the hospital 2 times for Meningitis now. And it does not help my Insurance with my new company does not kick in until Feb 1st. Thanks!

PFFFFFFFFFFFFFTTTTTTTTTTt

If some people were smart, they'd just sign up for my service and get them direct from Japan for about $260.00 a pop.

Well...I guess you could say this is my "stock"

http://list4.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/j....html?apg=1&f=&s1=end&o1=d&alocale=0jp&mode=1

You can buy pretty much any of those using my service. Average price for the PSP Value pack is about $297.00 before shipping and my service fees. So figure about ~$350.00 with all shipping included.

Same thing goes with Neo Geo stuff:
http://list4.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/j....html?apg=1&f=&s1=end&o1=d&alocale=0jp&mode=1

And any other system you want....

But it is showing up in Japanese. I cannot read it and have no idea what I am looking at to buy. How do I get a PSP from you for $350.00? LMK! Thanks!

lol, I'm getting a load of PM's about this. Let me try and explain the service a bit.

Shopping Mall Japan ( www.shoppingmalljapan.com ) is a bidding deputy service for Yahoo! Japan Auctions (YHJ). Basicly, YHJ is the "ebay" of Japan...with millions of items available. This includes Neo-Geo MVS / AES, Playstation, Nintendo, and yes, PSP....and virtually any other import.

How it works in a nutshell:

1) Sign up and make a deposit.
2) Find the auction on YHJ you want to bid on.
3) Bid, win, and pay.
4) Have the item shipped to you.

Now to find the auction is the tricky part. It has a bit of a learning curve. Now this link to YHJ is the "Video Game" catagory on YHJ with a huge amount of auctions:
http://list4.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/22844-category.html

For a translated link:
http://ocn.amikai.com/amiweb/browse...y=2&langpair=2,1&c_id=ocn&lang=JA&toolbar=yes

The translated links don't seem to work for everyone because of cookie settings. Here is a possible fix if you use IE:
http://www.shoppingmalljapan.com/screenshot1.jpg

Now once you find an auction you want to bid on, you use the bidding page on shoppingmalljapan.com to place the bid. After that, we do the rest. We'll send you an invoice for the total.

Now most sites ask "did you read the faq & fees, etc"...which a lot of people ignore. With SMJ, you had best read up. We're a much different shop and it contains a lot of info you will find handy.

---Sample links:
PSP handled and value packs (close to 700 units available)
http://list4.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/2084057110-category-leaf.html?f=&alocale=0jp&mode=1

Neo Geo AES / CD games:
http://list4.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/j....html?apg=1&f=&s1=end&o1=d&alocale=0jp&mode=1

Nintendo DS systems:
http://list4.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/j....html?apg=1&f=&s1=end&o1=d&alocale=0jp&mode=1

I'm getting lots of PMs with questions that are all answered on the site. Read up first. ;)

And check out this DS system:

Yeah, he had a bad fever for a few days and then broke out in little red spots all over his body and face. As soon as we took him into the Pediatrician they sent us right over to the hospital. I just hate the part where they give him that Spinal Needle. He had to sit in a fetal position and was crying a lot. I have twins.

Oh, and both of them have had 3 surgeries. Double-Hernia when they were 2 months old (normal in twins), Blocked Tear Ducts at 2 years old, and Abnoids (like Tonsils) removed in August because they would stay sicker longer than normal and have a cough whenever they ran around too much.

I hope he feels better soon.

My sister passed away several years ago from Meningitis, she was tired, went to bed, never woke up...

Anyway, I guess this means that they at least caught it in time.

Did everyone else get tested?

Thank you! Sorry to hear that about your sister. Tough to tell in a 4 yr old, when they do not feel good. They can have a 103 fever and still run around. Everyone else is okay. We were more concerned about his twin brother and my parents who visit. It is more common in kids and older adults. Not too common in people in their 30's though. We had to come home and sterilize everything in the house though. It is just tough working and taking turns sleeping and staying at the hospital with him.
