Mine supposedly ships today but regardless I wont be able to play it till friday as it is being delivered where I am going to spend christmas. Value (yeah right) Pack, Ridge Racers and Vampire Chronicle: The Chaos Tower.
If it has dead pixels it is going straight back to play-asia. They made no mention of not being able to return due to that problem. Infact, Play-Asia's TOS gives a 6 month warranty on faunty goods.

I still say you guys that bought the PSP at even $480 shipped are completely out of your minds. That's $200 more than the damn thing is supossed to cost, and what about the possibility of defects? It's one thing to have bad pixels or anything else for that matter go wrong with a new system when you paid regular price. How stupid are you gonna feel when these problems show up on your price jacked pile of shit, not to mention your gonna feel screwed out of your hard earned money when you see the rest of the sane world get their system for half what you paid. It's just not worth it, unless you just don't mind giving these places like Play-Asia, the suppliers, etc., reasons to jack prices like this when you are so willing to pay whatever they ask. These places will continue this bullshit until all of you learn how to just have a little patience. So I guess I am supossed to thank you guys for making my wait for a better price even longer, as there are at least 2 more nuts here who just said "Fuck it" and bought it anyways at 2x the price, making me and every one else wait just that more longer for respectable pricing...

Dude if you want the damn thing and have the money to buy it just buy it. No one can justify for you except yourself on how you spend your money. Me personally I bought a few things such as MVS Kits, PCB's etc at prices I felt comfortable paying when I knew they were going to be cheaper in a couple of months. Seriously though, at no point has Play-Asia said they are not accepting returns for faulty units/bad pixels. That was NSCX/jpngames.co.uk. Infact, the Terms of Sale state that all items (apart from software) comes with a six month warranty.
