Hello, I have a question about the EX/Shadow characters in RBFFS. I hope this is the correct forum to post this in. This is Neogeo related, so I think this is correct. This is gameplay/code related though, but also it is a character portrait request, so this forum seems the best I guess.
In the Neogeo home version of Real Bout Fatal Fury Special, I have read on many FAQs that there are EX/Shadow versions of some of the characters (Billy Kane, Blue Mary, etc.) However, I can't seem to do the code, and I might be misunderstanding it.
The code is supposedely:
Select a character (like Billy Kane), press and hold the start button (keep it held down), press B,B,C,C, and then press and hold B (keep it held down). Then press and hold C (keep it held down) and then press A or D to select the character.
Are there any other requirements I must fulfill before this code will work? Like do I have to unlock Geese first or something? Is there a specific timing?
I might just have to buy the import Sega Saturn version, because the code seems easier to do (just press and hold two buttons and then select the character).
Oh, but mostly I would just like to see the portraits of the EX/Shadow characters. I've read that Billy has no pupils and has stitches across his face, while Blue Mary has a wicked smile. There was once a sprite rip site that had them (because I remember the smiling Mary one, but unfortunately I never looked for Billy or the others) but it seems to be gone now.
Any help would be appreciated.
