Sam Sho 2 and then Sam Sho 1 and then KOF98 or KOF2001 (if you can get it at the $100 range)

Fatal Fury Special
Not my fave fatal fury (real bout special :buttrock: ) but good and cheap.
I also like Karnov's Revenge for its Street Fighter ripoffness.
And Kof 94 Jap isn't too much.

Sam Sho 2

that and FFS were the only two homecarts that I didn't sell

but if I had to choose for the money (and even it were really expensive) I'd take SS2

Now if you were talking "cheap" for a homecart (quotations are there for a reason), I'd go with LB1 JPN which I got for like 110 shipped back when I had an AES

Definitly Samurai 2. Every time I've had a Neo, it's always been the first fighter I've bought, closely followed by KoF96, which is well under the $100 mark now.

SS2 and FFS are both great fighters, but the style and gameplay are so different it's hard to really compare them.

I consider any AES cart that's under $100 as cheap. I paid $103 shipped for my KoF2k0, which has gotten by far more playtime than any of my carts.

Sam Sho II pwns all others in terms of quality/price index. Also, Sam Sho II can easily hold its own against any other fighter on the Neo - it's a classic in the truest sense of the word.
