Hi there,

I'm very new to the neo-geo scene and was hoping you guys could help me out. I read over the FAQ sections on bootlegs and the descriptions did not seem to match this cartridge, but I thought I'd ask for some expert opinions. Do you guys think this is the real deal? I ask mainly because when I recieved it, the serial #s were scratched off the label and that seemed sort of suspicious...:

The cartridge itself plays beautifully and I can't seem to find any glitches.

Thanks in advance, I'd appreciate any help, opinions or advice!

Thanks for the input. I'm wondering why arcades would remove the serial #s?

Leaves with headache from the Suck ASS search engine.

Legit...
................................................................................
The only serial number thread I could find.....I like trying to use the search engine but it STILL SUCKS!!!

The Serial Numbers were scratched off so the couldn't be traced back to the original source buyer.
SNK didn't want or allow the carts to be re-sold by the operators.
The serial numbers were a way of tracing them..

Scratched Serials is more a Sign that the cart is legit than it is fake...

Think about it...

If someone was going to REPRINT serials to defraud you, wouldn't they want to keep the serials????????????

Yes, that definitely makes sense. I just have absolutely no experience in spotting bootleg carts so I was unaware of what signs to look for.
