I am not interested in a ds at all, psp dies too quick so that is out and then i read about something amazing.

I have never really been interested in a gbasp but out in feb is Gaurdian Heros for it! MY GOD! So I picked myself a black gbasp yesterday :) I only have two games at the moment:

Super puzzle fighter 2
The urbz

Can you please tell me what games are out there that are worth it?

Im going to get the king of fighters even though Yuri is only a striker
Bubble bobble old and new
final fight one
ssx 3 even though i have heard its really slow. Anyone have it?

Any others that are worth it? :)

Yuri is a full character in KOF EX2 (there are no striker-only characters in that game -- they're all playable). Get it -- it is great! The 3 Castlevanias are also great. Super SF2 Revival is good, also. As are a lot of the NES and SNES ports. Actually, there are more good games for GBA than I could list. To top it off, most of them are real cheap... $15-$20 new.

edit:Oh yeah, Guardian Heroes isn't out there yet? It's out here, so you could have it now if you import.

Yeah, I'm digging mine. I like the old FPS games on it: Doom, Doom2, Duke Nukem. I wish they had even more obscure ones on there, like Blake Stone or Catacomb Abyss.

Super Mario Advance 2 (SMW)
Super Mario Advance 4 (SMB 3)
Phantasy Star Collection (PS I, PS II, PS III)
Sonic Advance
Sonic Advance 2
Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga
The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past
SEGA Rally Championship

And those are just some of the games I really enjoy. I'll most likely think of more later. ;)

If you like statagy RPGs etc get Orgre Battle... Also there is Astro Kid (reminds me of mega man) and then there is Street Fighter Apha 3, not a bad port.

Personally I'm a really big fan of Bokura no Taiyou (Abbreviated to Boktai: The Sun is in Your Hands in the U.S.), it has some Metal Gear mechanics, and lots of cool guns to play around with, plus the solar stake mechanism to exorcise bosses is really unique.

Other games I own that I love a lot for their reply values:

Sonic Pinball Party
Super Real Mahjong Dousoukai [Reunion]

Games I should get:

the 3 Castlevanias
Puyo Puyo
Puyo Puyo Fever

I would also recommend the Boktai games if I thought they got enough sunlight in England. :make_fac:

So far I haven't seen anyone mention Final Fantasy Tactics Advance.

River City Ransom
Ports/Remakes (Yoshi, Zelda, Mario ... etc.)
Wario Ware (collection of mini games)
Metal Slug Advance
Kirby Nightmare in Dream Land
Super Dodge Ball
Sonic Advance
Activision Anthology

if you like RPGs, get Mario & Luigi. and if you like Castlvania SotN on PSX, get Castlevania Aria of Sorrow.

also, Zelda: the Minish Cap will be coming soon.

Suggestions

Mario Kart Advance
Castlevania Aria of Sorrow
Tony Hawk (Whatever is the latest/greatest, suprisingly fun)
Yoshi's Island
Any of the Mario ports (world never gets old)
Fire Emblem

WarioWare is so good I was obsessed with it for two weeks straight, but thereafter I became sick just to look at it. Still good for quick pickup and play.

Only get Kirby if you like games you can beat in a hour without breaking a sweat.

I also found SF Alpha 3 way to hard on the handheld. The little buttons and d-pad are not quite suited for frantic button pressing.

It should also be noted that the latter two Sonic GBA games are great and retain everything that made the Genesis originals so fun. And they're ridiculously faster. If only the 3d Sonics of late had been anywhere near as fun... :(

i think that's enough...

Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts :buttrock:
I have the first two Castlevania games both are great.
To be honest I didn't like either of the Metroid games as much as Super Metroid for the SNES.
Both Street Fighter remakes are good.
And on a side note you have no idea how annoyed my sister was that Yuri was only a striker in EX Neo Blood.

Great RPG's:

Golden Sun
Breath of Fire 1
Breath of Fire 2
Final Fantasy 1&2
Final Fantasy Tactics
Golden Sun: The Lost Age

That'll take up a fair bit of time :p

Others:

F-Zero GP Legend
Tony Hawks - maybe for a quick bit of fun
Bomberman Tournement - if you like bomber man

And the ones others have mentioned :)

You shouldn't be playing that one, anyway...the first EX sucks. KOF EX2 Howling Blood is a huge improvement in all areas. And Yuri is playable.

I was exactly the same. :) Played it every spare minute for about two weeks, and then suddenly I'd had enough and haven't played it again (although I expect I will go back to it sooner or later). Definitely recommended.

I say you should definitely buy Wario Ware. It's probably the most addicting game ever. Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow is good. I believe Zelda: Minish Cap is out in Europe already so you may want to check it out. Mario & Luigi is alright, but it got kind of old after a while. I really enjoyed Metroid: Zero Mission, but I hated Fusion. I'd say avoid that one.

I haven't played Boktai personally, but I have heard it's fun. Plus it was made by Kojima, so it is probably really good.

Yeah I'll pick it up after my trip to England in January (trying to save my money for now) I've been wanting to play it for a while.
@SilverAngel- I'll pass that along ;)
