Its not that rare its just that it wasn't released in the UK in massive numbers.For some reason most of the VK carts ended up in Germany.I used to buy them from there for about £30 inc postage and then sell them over here for about £60+.

A copy sold on ebay a few weeks ago for £77. I've been watching other copies and they tend to sell for around £50-£60 on average.

Last year there was one that reached nearly £95.

Also at the time that Metroid Prime came out on the cube,some mug paid £120 for a sealed US copy of Super Metroid,which was made even funnier as it was the re-released million sellers version which just a few weeks prior to that could be bought still sealed for about £10.

VK makes its money as the jap Dracula XX/US Dracula X release of the same game doesnt work with a converter cart as it also uses a frequency check as a secondary lockout.So PAL snes owners can't play the jap/us versions as the cart itself checks to see if its been placed in a 60hz machine(unless they have a switched snes of course).
