This question has been asked before I think; if not ,well Good!! I'm planning to buy a 2 slot mvs board to consolize it ....But I need a guide as to where to get the parts that I need and how to do it!!

I know that a lot of you guys do your own consolizing and have your own techniques but a small general guide would be good for those who don't know how.

Do any of the experts arround have a small guide with pics perhaps on how to consolize a mvs board?.(1 slot,2,4 or 6)
thanks guys ,any help would be good. :help:

How are your soldering and Electrical troubleshooting skills?

Unless you have experiance with modding of systems or building circuits or working with TV repair, I'd recomend you start with a supergun...

Once you figure out how everything works and plan out a design.... then go the consolization route.

When ready, You can take the take most of the supergun parts and use them in the consolzation......

Thanks for the info my friend;I have experience modding systems, fixing radios ect. But what I'm looking for is pics as to where to soldier precisely and how is should look. This is not only for me, It's for all those gamers out there who have the experience of soldiering but don't know where to start when they actually see for the first time a mvs board. :D

Well I'd look at the DOC here for your board:
http://hardmvs.com/html/Downloads.htm

You don't have to solder directly to the jamma edge.... Use a multimeter to find a spot on the board to solder to.

You will need a psu, a RGB encoder, and some A/V jacks.

It's hard to make a guide for these reasons:

1. There are SO many different types of boards... And even then, each model might have 2-3 revisions.

2. Inccorect info might lead to problems (due to the above)..... Someone who can't troubleshoot properly might get stuck or do damage.

3. Everyone does thier systems differently. Every time I make a system, it's differnt than the last......

Yeah, There are documented examples of 4-5 different two slots, 2-3 four slots, maybe 2 6 slots.......

Not sure about each model of one slots...... Anyways, it wouldn't be helpfull if someone just made a guide on an FZ, C or A.

CONTINUTITY TEST IS YOUR FRIEND.....
