Seriously, why do I want to drop nearly $400 for this goddamn game when I won't be able to play ANYONE when the US version comes out?

I'm there, but I'm waiting for the domestic release. The game looks amazing, but am I the only one who's not crazy about the addition of "nitro"? I know street racing games are all the rage with the kids these days, but did the Ridge Racer series really need to adopt that feature? I'm sold regardless.

Looks cool. But whats with that ugly ass rally x mini map? The nitro boost is kinda lame . Lets hope namco makes it very limited. Cant wait for this and Gran Turismo PSP

The Rally-X thing in the corner is simply a little animated doo-dad that appears when you complete a lap, just like Pac-Man and some ghosts would appear in RRV. It isn't a literal 'map' that has anything to do with the actual gameplay.

Given how fragile these suckers might be, there's no way in hell I'd risk my ducats on an import PSP. Buy the US one, grab the warranty somewhere like EB if you're hellbent on being an early adopter.
The nitro itself doesn't bother me, so much as the abuse it may represent if it's got some kind of shitty rubber-band AI.

Sorry but unless this R.R has a good storyline and endings like Ridge Racer type 4, I ain't interested esp not to go out and buy a new system
