Now i am aware that nintendo has done a very crappy job to promote and create the GC, however it has the best adventure type games like metroid, mario, zelda these games are clearly amazing and seem to be better than most exclusives for either xbox or PS2. Still not enough to make this the best system but it certainly has shown some good inovative games(prime 1+2, Zelda ww, Mario w/ water cannon, RE4, new zelda, killer seven, soul calibur 2 w/ link, pikmin 1+2). Good system to have for the exclusives, but if your not a fan of the nintendo 1st party games, get a different system since it has few good third party games, plus the controller itself is just wackey, buttons all over the place, seems as though it was designed by a pothead 
, and don't forget NO ONLINE 
. Overall mildly worthy of purchase. 
The XBOX hardware is a piece of shit(imo)
, all the games seem to be the same, the majority of the suck, the controller is a piece of fucking garbage(too big, to non-responsive), and lets not forget to mention that the games for the system hardley ever utilize the systems full capability, most of the games still look and play like N64 or PS1 games. This system can be summed in one word HALO, without it and Xbox live this system would have died with in months if release. But i suppose if you like the good graphics(in some games) and masses of available mindless 
first person shooters than go ahead and shell out 125+ dollars for a sub-par system. Overall Mildly worthy of purchase.
PS2 has some good games and the systems itself is fairly well designed, but the amount of shity games is unrivaled by xbox or GC, 100's of bullshit never buy never play games, like the movie games, all the gay little playformers they create in a matter of minutes

, but whatever the hardware was developed in 2001. This system seems to be the most varied system of them all, the controller is so generic that anyone can use it, the fact that it gets the most third party support of any system ever created, and the huge library since it plays PS 1 games too. The PS2 seems to the best system in this generation(imo), it's also been proven by the 100+ miilion units sold, more than xbox(20 million) and GC(10 million) combined x3. Overall worthy of purchase.
