Its actually a bit better, feels pretty much the same but the stick is alot tighter far less travel time. Its got good weight to it & plenty of room to rest your hands, only complaint is the buttons feel a bit cheapo, but i can't say there that much different from the DC one

and a pelican stick with happ replacement parts is the best if you prefer a traditional arcade stick

I've got the Hori EX stick. The buttons do indeed feel cheap. But you can use the communicator with it. I wouldn't recommend it.

Personally, I am using the Hori Real Arcade Pro Stick for the PS2 and a Magic Box convertor. I would say that its the best Japan stick in the market right now.

If thats too big for your taste, get the Hori Tekken 4/Soul Calibur 2 stick instead.

you're not missing too much with the headset, it's cool to be able to bullshit and such, but it's more important to have the best thing possible for gameplay (for me, it's a saturn pad :emb:

)

I have the hori stick ex, it's decent, stick is a little loose, and the buttons feel mushy. It's ok I guess, but I can't do as well using it.

I'm gonna check out the sf 15th stick next week, supposedly it uses happ parts.

How well does the Magic Box convertor work? I've heard someone say something about a PS2 to Xbox controler convertor causing lag (no idea if this is true or how it would)...? Also, I didn't find one on ncsx...who has them, and how much do they run?

I'm not the greatest player ever in the world to begin with, but struggling with a pad doesn't help me any. I'd love to be able to use my PS2 Hori SC2 stick.

The Magic Box things work great for PS or DC sticks on the XBOX, but it hates the PS2 controller for some reason, makes the XBOX do funny things. Maybe it's just the system, I don't know.

I got mine from levelsix.com, but I just checked there and they don't seem to have them anymore. Google it, I guess.

Depends if u want a Hori stick or a MAS stick

I prefer a MAS stick ( American style ) big fat stick which I prefer

or a Hori stick ( Japanese style ) which is a smaller stick with a knob on top

hori stick is nice, ive got no complaints about it.

the ps2-xbox convertor (that looks like a little xbox) is also good and i havent noticed any lag on it whatsoever...
